Is the World Series like the Super Bowl for baseball?

The World Series is an annual championship series in Major League Baseball between the American League and the National League champions. Like the Super Bowl in football, the World Series is considered one of the most important events in professional sports. Both events feature the best teams from each league, and both are highly anticipated events. However, the World Series is played over a longer period of time and has more games than the Super Bowl. Moreover, the World Series is also a best-of-seven series, which means that the first team to win four games is crowned the champion. As such, the World Series is different from the Super Bowl in terms of format, game length, and importance.
